Hi everyone, I’m William, the founder of Stories Rezoned, an urban revitalization focused online platform. Driven by my interest and focus on urban renewal and revitalization, we created this platform to systematically research and document the development of property revitalization in China and its interaction with our daily life, from this generation’s perspective.

During our research, my team and I have been continuously searching for urban revitalization projects across the country through on-site visits, on-location photography, data collection, case studies, and content curation. We observe changes in urban spaces in an authentic, objective, and relatable way, documenting the reawakening of architecture and culture.

We do this not only out of passion, but also to take on what I feel is cultural responsibility: to record the memory and transformation of cities, to promote culture in old spaces, to help more people see the stories behind urban revitalization and their value, and to participate in passing down urban history and innovation.

In the future, I hope this website will grow beyond documentation into a digital community and information platform for China’s property revitalization sector. We aim to connect enthusiasts and professionals focused on urban renewal in a more open and tech-driven way, enabling information sharing and case exchanges. We want this to be a platform for research, interaction, connection, and growth, using digital outreach to inspire more people to join in revitalizing and innovating urban spaces.
